The automatic cryogenic storage system developed by Basecare for reproductive centers solved the problems existing in traditional embryo cryopreservation tank such as complexed operation, frequent replenish of liquid nitrogen and difficult to monitor temperature, which realized the effective monitoring and early warning of the storage temperature of embryo samples and the running state of equipment, satisfies the uers’demands for the precise positioning, review and quick sample sorting, promotes the standardized, automatic and intelligent management of the whole process of embryo samples storage.
Basecare has helped 31 medical institutions in China to establish standardized assisted reproduction laboratories. The total assisted reproduction cycle in China is about 800000 per year, with an average of 10 embryos per cycle, a total of 8 million new embryos need to be stored every year, which means that at least 1000 intelligent freezing storage equipment are needed every year.
